Things are things of difference

But it is only the fact of indifference which reveals things to be things which differ. Only because they are not the same are they what they are. In being indifferentiated things cease to differ in any qualitative way yet they remain in their differential state. At least perceptively.

Things are and are not. Thus indifference seduces and produces at the same time. It produces things which differ from thingliness. If thingliness could be said to be the condition of being a thing then it seems we are left with things that are in no such condition. They remain what they are while suspending what they are. They are things under arrest. The faster we move the less stable they become the more they become what they are.

A few questions...

Indifference to things as a mode of commitment to things? Things become ghosts of themselves. Residual. Existing in the tension of in-differentiation? Perception is only a halo? The Real is that which refuses to die?

That probably doesn't make any sense at all. Never mind. Thoughtleaks are thoughtleaks. They aren't Thought.
